Furry creatures have long been the "other" in science-fiction and fantasy, from the werewolves of classic myth to the war-like Kzinti; most of us first identified as furry by seeing ourselves in them. What's the meaning behind siding with the alien, and where does the concept of "the other" fit in modern furry storytelling?
